News on Euston OSD

In October, Lendlease’s Euston team hosted ‘The Big Lunch’ for members of the local community.

The event was catered by local traders from Drummond Street and brought together people of all ages and backgrounds, to meet new friends, join local networks and start new conversations.

Lendlease was supported by some amazing local organisations and residents including Fitzrovia Youth in Action and Hopscotch Women’s Centre. Interactive activities on the day included face painting, a smoothie bike and henna art. Despite lots of rain, the lunch was well attended, and we even had the pleasure of welcoming the local Mayor, much to the delight of local residents!

The Big Lunch has played a key role in allowing members of the Euston project team to meet those who have been part of the consultation process in an informal setting and build positive ties with the community. There has been great feedback and calls for future events like the Big Lunch, so watch this space!
