Taking place on Saturday 25th June, the ‘Discover Euston Family Fun Day’ is set to be a truly celebratory event for all the family to enjoy. We invite you to explore the upcoming changes to Euston’s built environment; through creative workshops, and station-building STEAM activities for children.
Come and discuss what makes a place welcoming and inviting? What prompts you to stop and enjoy your surroundings? What will the station of the future look like? And how can the infrastructure of public spaces be designed to support both local communities and visitors for generations to come?
This fun-packed event will also offer a unique opportunity to view the latest designs and talk to the teams from HS2, Network Rail and Lendlease about the plans for Euston, which offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reconnect the area, and grow not only the local economy but that of London and the rest of the UK.
Find out more here and see our event postcard below.
We held a series of Ideas Workshops with residents, community groups, organisations, and businesses throughout March 2022. The Ideas Workshops looked at three key areas of the masterplan: Eversholt Street, Euston Mainline Station Roof, and the Northern Approaches (the Cuttings). The Ideas Workshop Report explains the workshop activities and includes a summary of feedback.
We have uploaded the Ideas Workshop Report to our Have your say page which can be downloaded here . Detailed comments can be viewed in the Ideas Workshop Report Appendix here.
Findings from the Ideas Workshops will help inform plans for the Euston OSD.
